Gentle yoga is an introduction to the benefits of learning to relax and energize with yoga specially designed for people with or without cancer. Gentle yoga is for use on the not so good, low energy days. Gentle yoga is instructed by Theresa Novak.

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that may help build flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips, and back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing, and developing a strong core or center, and improving coordination and balance. Pilates’ system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginning to advanced. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises. Instructed by Eileen Pollock

This class is designed to help the aspirants to achieve a better sense of their true Self. Learn ancient breathing techniques to enhance all the vital systems in the body. Experience a sense of peace and deep relaxation. Learn how to deal with stress and fear and create a better environment for healing within you. Train your mind to better serve you. The Beat Explosion! Class incorporates cardio exercise with a dance flavor with an infusion of weights, great fun with or without a chair, experience a powerful workout through the sounds of great music therapy!! Joan Murphy instructs this easy to follow choreographed class; take your mind and body to an exciting adventure of the beats of years ago to present times. This challenging class is open to the public and everyone’s participation also benefits a great cause!!!
One on One Personal Training for Breast Cancer Patients
A certified fitness trainer will instruct all sessions. Every person’s individual needs will be addressed, with a wide range of capability and personal limitations in mind. Every program will be adjusted to individual needs as they are established after the initial consultation. Come in and start a program that will help you to feel stronger, enhance your quality of life, and boost your self-esteem. This program is at no cost to patients and survivors. These one on one yoga sessions are designed for the individual and their specific needs. Whether you have never taken a yoga class before or wish to take your asana practice to new and more challenging levels, this program will fulfill those requirements. Some individuals may think they are limited because of their present circumstances. We’ll create together a yoga program that is perfect for you. You’ll learn movement and breathing techniques, become more flexible and stronger and get a deeper sense of yourself. Sessions are one hour. Wear comfortable clothing.
