Gently remove tangles using a wide-tooth comb and turn inside out. Do not comb curly styles. Soak the wig for five minutes in a solution of cold water and a capful of wig shampoo. Then, swirl it gently without rubbing or wringing the hair. For real hair wigs, use running water and shampoo.
Use a spray-on wig conditioner and spray the wig thoroughly. For real hair, massage the wig conditioner into small sections of the wig until it is completely covered. Then, rinse with cold water.
Blot the wig with a towel to remove water. Do not rub, twist, or brush the wig when wet in order to avoid damage. Once it is dry, you can brush the hair into your desired look.
DO NOT use curling irons, hair dryers, or any other heat source on your wig.
