Our Instructors

Theresa Novak – Yoga and Meditation Instructor; Vibrational Sound Therapy

Theresa Novak begain practicing yoga 15 years ago at Health Works in Kingston. She has a 500 hour certification from Dharma Yoga Center in New York City. She studied with renowned yoga instructor, Dharma Mitra. In addition to teaching the One on One Personal Yoga and Mediation Training, Theresa also holds the Gentle Yoga classes which include mediation, breathing and posture techniques at the Center on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Theresa also instructs the Mediation and Deep Breathing Relaxation Class on Wednesday evenings.

Maureen Dicker – Reiki Instructor

Maureen has been involved in Healing Arts for 45 years. She began her practice as an RN and earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling. While living in Arizona, she was introduced to hands on healing by an American Indian Medicine Woman. Maureen’s interest in the mind, body and spirit connection led her to study Mind-Body-Medicine under Dr. James Gordon and to become a Reiki Master in the Usui tradition. Most recently Maureen completed Yoga teacher training with a 200 YTT at the Himalayan Institute. She is also a certified Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist, a practice that focuses on lifestyle and each person’s unique constitution to achieve optimal health, wellness, and inner stillness.
