We are taking our annual walk fundraiser virtual for 2020! This VirtuALL event will be open for participation the entire month of October. Any activity is valid as long as there is movement. That means walking, hiking, kayaking, skating, running, swimming, even gaming are all options! Our walk is usually 2 miles so we ask that the length of your chosen activity be equal to or exceed the 2 mile mark. Be sure to grab a selfie or video of your activity to share online and tag it #CandysVirtuALL.

What: 2+ mile activity of your choice
When: October 1-31, 2020
Where: Anywhere – local or global, inside or outside!
(Just be sure to follow safe distancing measures when in public spaces.)
Registration: $25/person*
*includes a branded mask that can be picked up from the office and an event bib that can be downloaded after registration and worn on the day of your activity.

PLEASE SIGN THE WAIVER: As a condition of and consideration for my entry and participation in Candy’s “VirtuALL” (the event), I, intending to be legally bound, do hereby waive, release and discharge (on behalf of myself, my heirs and assigns, and my executors and administrators) any and all rights that I may now have, or that may hereafter accrue to me, to assert any demands, claims or causes of actions, of whatever nature or origin, against Candy’s Place, Inc., or its agents, Board Members, employees or its representatives and all sponsors or promoters of the Event, including but not limited to any demands, claims or causes of action related to any injuries suffered by me while participating in or traveling to or from my chosen location of participation in the Event.

Description

All of the proceeds from this event go directly to the center to provide FREE services to our cancer clients and their caregivers during treatment. Candy’s Place is a vital part of the NEPA region and we want to continue to spread more awareness about our cause. We offer an array of services from Healing Arts therapies, to exercise classes and support groups. We strive to provide a welcoming environment to anyone 18 years or older living with any cancer diagnosis.
